Yoga one-on-one
Most yoga classes are built around a fixed sequence, style or method. Yoga one-on-one works the other way round. It is an adaptive personal program built for you, and it changes as you do.
Over 14 years of yoga teaching and 11 running a yoga school, I've worked with people managing chronic pain, autoimmune conditions, hormonal balance, stress, mental health challenges, grief, and everything in between. Every session you do with me is shaped by that experience. I design the practice to support you through meaningful change rather than fit you into a mould.

One-on-one classes are for you if...
You have tried yoga classes but need more space for individual exploration.
You are looking for a practice that works with your whole life, not just treat your ailments.
Looking for a teacher, mentor and accountability partner on your journey through life.
Three starting points
We begin by asking: What do you need from yoga right now?

Recovery
For a practice that feels safe for healing pain, ailments or ongoing physical discomfort.

Transition
To provide clarity and support through a major change in life, grief, or period of uncertainty.

Progress
For a deeper practice, greater self-understanding and more capacity to apply yoga through life.
A practice built around you
Yoga as a practice and a perspective - for your whole life!
I blend the practice of classical yoga with the contemporary understanding of movement, health, behaviour, and learning. While yoga practice is effective for physical and mental fitness, I see it as a process of becoming whole, in a way that you are more coherent, grounded, and anchored in yourself.
Most of us carry old patterns of thought, behaviour and action that keep us smaller than we actually are. My work is to help you see these patterns clearly, and outgrow them. As an educator and a practitioner myself, I believe in creating a system of learning that fits your life. Here's what that looks like in practice:

Start where you are
We begin with an honest look at where you are: your body, your history, and your needs. We work together to build a practice around that.
Build capacity
The goal is not to manage a limitation, but to build enough physical, mental, and emotional capacity so that old patterns stop deciding or dictating your life.
Find your center
Calm is the foundation. We work towards a steadier inner ground, so you can respond to life with more clarity and choice, no matter what is happening around you.
Outgrow limitations
A practice designed for you expands your sense of possibility - in your body, your mind and your life.
On-going support, real progress
The aim of one-on-one yoga classes is to build an intelligent practice with clear markers of progress for you. Change takes time, but it helps to know that you’re moving forward. Through regular assessment, tracking and feedback, I notice the changes, assess your developing needs and fine-tune your practice.
What this means for you:
A practice that builds lasting change
A richer understanding of yourself through multiple lenses: body, breath, behaviour, mind, and the larger context of your life.
Yoga becomes the wisdom that you can use in real life.
Greater clarity, capacity and freedom off the mat, too!
You have support as you navigate this journey

My Experience
A practice shaped through teaching
2500+
hours of formal yoga training
14
years of yoga teaching and practice
6000
1-on-1 yoga classes taught
Over the years, my teaching has taken me into health and life conditions far beyond a standard yoga class for well-being. I have worked with posture and spinal health, chronic lifestyle conditions, pain management, women’s health, yoga for special special needs, mental health, somatics, healthy ageing and rehabilitation. Each context has taught me how to bring yoga meaningfully to my student's specific needs, rather than simply the symptoms, diagnosis or condition.

How it works
There is no fixed sequence to fit yourself into. Every program starts with a conversation. I learn how you live, move and feel, build the practice around that, and review it regularly so it keeps pace with you. This work is shared. My part is to guide you. Yours is to stay connected to the practice and, over time, take it into your own hands.

The process I use has been developed and refined through years of teaching, observation and working with people across a wide range of bodies, needs and circumstances. It is thorough, rigorous and rooted in the classical framework of yoga, while remaining responsive to the student in front of me. The result is a practice that is deeply personal without losing the depth or rigour of the tradition.

A small practice, by design
I take on a limited number of one-on-one students at a time. Every program is designed and reviewed individually, and that only works if each student gets real attention. When I'm at capacity, I keep a waitlist. If there's no place right now, I'll add you to that list. As soon as a place opens, I'll write to you.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if the personal classes program is right for me? If you need a practice tailored to your body, health, goals, or circumstances, one-on-one classes offer the individual attention and flexibility vis-a-vis group classes that offer a standardised structure for all. This is where scheduling a discovery call comes in! On our call, we will create a program for your specific needs, your budget and schedule!
Do I need to be flexible or have prior experience with yoga? Not at all. One-on-one with me is suitable for complete beginners as well as experienced practitioners, and every session is adapted to your current abilities and needs.
How is personal yoga different from a group class? Group classes are designed for many people at once; personal yoga is designed entirely around you, allowing for greater adaptation, support, and progression.
What happens in the first session? We begin with a conversation about your health, lifestyle, goals, and challenges, followed by an assessment that helps us design an appropriate practice.
What is the duration of commitment? It is a minimum of 1 month, however the majority of people who sign on to work with me end up training for at least 6 months - 2 years. The longer you commit, the more change and progress we can make ! I’m very much about the long term results, not the quick fix.
