The study of life through yoga

Yoga is often understood as a set of techniques, such as asana, pranayama and meditation. A deeper purpose guides these techniques.
Our lives present many challenges that need care and attention: loneliness in a hyperconnected world, illness, loss of self-worth, grief and uncertainty. At the core, we face the existential question: How do we live well through everything that we experience?
Classical traditions suggest that we need a perspective, a darshana, that shapes how we see, interpret, and respond to life. Such a perspective is cultivated by learning to become more curious and observant about our own internal processes.
Yoga is a darshana designed for studying the human experience. By observing how we think, react, struggle, adapt and grow, a discriminative intelligence develops, and with it, refinement. Practiced in this way, yoga becomes a means of culturing inner capacity and navigating life with greater clarity. Over time, it builds resilience, calmness and a more intelligent way of engaging with the world.

Clear discriminative knowledge is the means of liberation from pain.

Students come with different entry points — physical conditions, often lifestyle-related; stress, fatigue, or mental health concerns; or a desire to deepen their engagement with yoga beyond surface-level practice.
How I work
My work is to help build a thoughtful and sustainable relationship with life through yoga.
My approach brings together practice, and philosophical inquiry.
In response, I design a structured and adaptive framework that is specific to you. We build a practice path that evolves with your context, observe its effects carefully, and refine it as needed. The intention is not simply to address the body, but to work with the being as a whole.
This work is always situated in your present life. While we draw from the principles of classical yoga, they are applied in a way that is relevant to your circumstances, giving you both a conceptual handle and a practical way forward.
I work with beginners, experienced practitioners, and yoga teachers, and have taught students across diverse cultural contexts. The aim, always, is to help you develop clarity, resilience, and a practice that is truly your own.

Yoga is often introduced as a set of techniques: postures, breathing practices, meditation. But beneath these techniques lies a deeper purpose.
Classical yoga is a system for observing how human experience unfolds — how we think, react, struggle, adapt, and grow.
When approached carefully, it becomes a powerful way to understand ourselves and navigate life with greater clarity. My work is to guide people through that process.
