Yoga one-on-one
Most yoga classes are built around a fixed sequence, style or method. Yoga one-on-one works the other way round. It is an adaptive personal program built for you, and it changes as you do.
Over 15 years of yoga teaching and 11 running a yoga school, I've worked with people managing chronic pain, autoimmune conditions, stress, mental health challenges, grief, and everything in between. Your sessions are shaped by that experience and practice I design for you supports meaningful change rather than forcing you to fit into a mould of "yoga".

One-on-one classes are for you if...
You have tried yoga classes but need more space for individual exploration.
You are looking for a practice that works with your whole life, not just treat your symptoms.

My Approach
My approach combines the depth of classical yoga with contemporary understanding of movement, health, behaviour, and learning. I don't see yoga as a fitness trend or a therapy technique. I see it as a way of becoming whole, in a way that you are more coherent, grounded, and anchored in yourself.
Most of us carry old patterns of thought, behaviour and action that keep us smaller than we actually are. My work is to help you see them clearly, and outgrow them. As an educator and a practitioner myself, I believe in creating a system of learning that fits into your life, not one you have to reshape your life around. Here's what that looks like in practice:

1
Start where you are
We begin with an honest look at where you are — no denial, no rushing past your body, your history, your present state. I craft the practice around that.
2
Build capacity
The goal isn't managing a limitation. It's building enough physical, mental, and emotional capacity that old patterns stop deciding your life for you.
3
Find your center
Calm is the substratum of this exploration. It helps build a steady ground no matter what is happening around you.
4
Outgrow your limitations
Yoga practice expands your sense of what is possible, so that the older limiting patterns no longer limit your world view.
The practice may begin with your body, but the real work is learning how to live differently.
Medha has been patient, encouraging and supportive. She knows what she is doing and does it well. Her yoga philosophy knowledge adds to her teachings and is a very profound experience for any practitioner. I am so glad I have them as I navigate these challenging times in my life.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if the personal classes program is right for me? If you need a practice tailored to your body, health, goals, or circumstances, one-on-one classes offers the individual attention and flexibility that group classes cannot. This is where scheduling a discovery call with me comes in! On our call we can see which of my options makes the most sense for you, your budget and schedule!
What are your certifications? Trained for over 1600 hours, I'm an ERYT-500, YACEP , Yoga Teacher & Evaluator (Ministry of AYUSH, Govt. of India)
Do I need to be flexible or have prior experience with yoga? Not at all. One-on-one with me suitable for complete beginners as well as experienced practitioners, and every session is adapted to your current abilities and needs.
How is personal yoga different from a group class? Group classes are designed for many people at once; personal yoga is designed entirely around you, allowing for greater adaptation, support, and progression.
What happens in the first session? We begin with a conversation about your health, lifestyle, goals, and challenges, followed by an assessment that helps us design an appropriate practice.
What is the duration of commitment? It is a minimum of 1 month, however the majority of people who sign on to work with me end up training for at least 6 months - 2 years. The longer you commit, the more change and progress we can make ! I’m very much about the long term results, not the quick fix.
